ABOUT US:
In the early years, Buster Grover
cleared trees to store broken vehicles. Later, he and his Dad built a small dirt floored garage. This garage doubled as
a repair facility and a racecar repair shop. Through the years improvements have been made.
In 1983, Buster’s son,
Danny returned from college to temporarily help his father. The team started by putting a concrete floor in the shop. We
went into selling recapped tires and used cars resurrected from the salvage yard. Grover Auto & Tire began to stock new tires
and soon used up most of the garage space with tire storage.
After working outside for many years, we decided to expand.
The larger addition houses a clean waiting area and restroom, bays for service and storage rooms. With the extra room, we
installed a wheel alignment machine and two lifts. Now we employ four ASE Certified Personal: one Master Technician, two
ASE Certified Auto Consultants, and one ASE Certified Technician.
In 1988, Grover Auto & Tire Inc. became affiliated
with National Auto Parts Association "NAPA" as one of their 12,000 independent "NAPA Auto Care Centers". This association
allows us to offer nationwide parts and labor warranties with the “Peace of Mind Warranty” to customers traveling outside
a 25 mile radius of our repair shop. Grover Auto is a distributor of both Cooper and Goodyear tires, selling quality tires
backed by national warranties. Being an independent tire dealer, we also sell many other brands and can find nearly any tire
needed.
In 2004, the shop updated its information systems with the ability to e-mail customers about upcoming services:
including oil changes, state inspection, preventative or seasonal maintenance services. Yes, you can e mail us for an appointment.
We save all your repair records for future reference, enabling us do warranty work even if your paperwork is lost.
